This JEE Main 2026 Marks vs Percentile vs AIR table is prepared assuming a total of 16 lakh candidates, which matches recent JEE Main trends.
The percentile values are taken from previous year normalized percentile distributions and mapped directly to All India Rank using the formula:
AIR = (100 − Percentile) × Total Candidates ÷ 100
For example, a 99 percentile candidate lies within the top 1% of 16,00,000 candidates, giving an AIR close to 16,000. All ranges above follow this same logic and are aligned with historical NTA data.
This page intentionally avoids category-wise ranks and cutoff assumptions and only shows percentile-to-AIR mapping as requested.
